Policies
Appointments: Please understand that we are a small business and our groomer is a commissioned employee, therefore attendance is crucial. Cancellations are always disappointing, but we understand that life happens. If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment for boarding or grooming, we ask that you give us the courtesy of 24 hours' notice in order to avoid a cancellation fee.
Our scheduling system relies on the accuracy of pick-ups and drop-offs to accommodate all clients at their scheduled times. Grooming at specific times allows us to provide specialized attention to each of our clients and minimizes the amount of time your pet will spend in a kennel. Arriving late can negatively affect all subsequent appointments. Arriving 15 minutes or later for a scheduled appointment without calling us can void your appointment. Out of respect for our other scheduled clients, we will reschedule your work for a later date and you will be charged a cancellation fee of $20. If we are able to take in your pet, a $20 late fee may be added to your bill. If you do not show up for your appointment, without contacting us in advance with a cancellation, a cancellation fee of $20 will be charged at your next appointment.
Vaccinations: For the safety of our staff and your pet, all dogs and cats must be fully vaccinated not less than 72 hours prior to boarding or grooming. Puppies must have had at least their 2nd puppy vaccination series. Parvo is on the rise in Arizona and it is important to follow all precautions. It is also highly recommended that your dog have current flea/tick treatment. Topical treatments must be administered no less than 2 days prior to bathing/grooming for the treatment to be effective.
Boarding and Grooming: Female dogs that are in heat will be turned away, and charged a $20 missed appointment fee before additional appointments may be scheduled. After a dog has been in heat, please allow 7 days after the bleeding has ended before any bathing/grooming can be done.
